Old Man Bruno lives on Duchess Island, an island at least 20 miles away from any other land. He's 58 years old and has been living on the island since he was 25. Hating society, Bruno has cut himself off from civilization. The weird thing about Bruno is how he got to be the only human resident of Duchess Island.

Bruno wasn't born on the island.
Bruno can not and has never been able to swim.
Bruno suffers from serious nausea, therefore has never been on a boat.
He's never flown in an airplane, either, or any other air born transportation.
There are none and have never been any bridges connecting the island to the mainland.

How did Bruno get to Duchess Island?

Two terrorists take two challengers hostage. The first terrorist robs his/her victim of 200 points. The second terrorist robs his/her victim of 250 points.

We would just like to remind all of our wonderful challengers that WEEK ONE ends tonight at 11:59pm EST.

What's this mean?

This means, all of the points from week one will be totalled up and posted to the blog Sunday morning. This also means the top three point scoring challengers are eligible for a SECOND CHANCE PRIZE at the end of the month (additional information soon to come).

You should also take note that week one's scores are separate from week two's.
So, Sunday morning at 12:00am (midnight), the scores are all reset to zero. Let all of the inactive challengers know that they can rejoin the game and aim for one of the top three spots for week two. Please don't let a few missed challenges prevent you from competing.

ultimate challenge #34 - INVISIBLE BIRD - ends 12/6/2008 @ 11:59pm EST

Mrs. Bumbabug just purchased a new bird. It's a canary, and of course, she named him Tweety. Anyways, the other day, Tweety flew out of his cage and began exploring the rest of the house. Mrs. Bumbabug noticed Tweety flying around in the kitchen. When she got up to chase Tweety, he flew upstairs and down the hall to Mrs. Bumbabug's spare room. The spare room was completely empty, with no windows or carpet, just a small lightbulb on the ceiling. She knew it would be easy to catch Tweety in that room. She ran inside and slammed the door too quick for Tweety to fly back out. She turned on the light and looked all around the room, but she didn't see her bird.

Where was Tweety?
